RE: Making a photo CD with music

Another vote for Photo story. Very easy to use.

RE: Help! Can't Decide?

If the Jayco looks like it has been taken care of and has no defects I would probably lean in that direction. The warranty is tempting, but the money is tempting also. The new unit will be worth $15k as soon as you drive it off the lot.
Look both of the units up in the price guide link somewhere on this website and age them a couple of years, see which one drops most in price after you have owned them two years. That might help you decide.

RE: Opinions on "synvisc" knee injection therapy...?

My better half is getting at least one new knee in the next month or so. Shots did her no good at all.
She is hoping to get both replaced at same time. Anyone done that?

Memories can be made in the strangest places. I dare say she will never forget it or you either. Congrats on creating a good one.

RE: Generators?

Common standard procedure is to buy a cheap generator and regret it every time you start it, not start it very often because you get dirty looks from everyone around you, try to build something around it to make it quieter and then give up, try to sell it and get some of your money back so that you can buy a Honda or Yamaha. :)
Or listen to these folks and buy a Honda or Yamaha the first time. They are not cheap but they are worth it.
Some folks love the Kipors, I have never seen one so I have no comment either good or bad about them.

RE: TOUNGE JACK ADVISE NEEDED PLEASE

The dealer should replace your jack in my opinion.
The only way that I can imagine the blocks being a problem is if you jack the wheels of the trailer off the ground and put the full weight of the trailer on the jack. Or, if you did not unhook the trailer from the truck and tried to jack up the truck. That might occur if the tongue was hung on the ball due to the incline. If either of those things happened you overloaded the jack.
Either case, I would replace the jack with an electric jack if I had to buy anything. You will eventually want to do that anyway sooner or later.

RE: This came in an e-mail from my dsis

Thanks for sharing. Good to hear those kind of things and hope that story is the norm and not the exception. I would still prefer those troops and civilians be home doing good for our own needy. But glad to know that it is not a complete waste over there.

RE: "Flip this house" Montelongo indicted

There is an end as far as I am concerned. I have watched my last show last Saturday.
I sent an email to A&E to tell them the same and why. I'm sure they don't care about my opinion, but it made me feel better to give it to them.

What was the name for it? "bunting sack"? :-)
I don't think it would be a good idea. If he had to travel a long way get him a room nearby or something.

RE: How To Save Paint???

I use empty coffee plastic containers, plastic mayonnaise or peanut butter jars. They seal up better than the metal can that usually has paint in the lid tray that will not let you re-seal it very well. Take some of the paint and put a dot on the outside of the container for reference for the coffee can.
I like CEK0515's idea also. I just hate to buy another can.

RE: Selling a home with this seller's request....

Sounds to me like your job was made a little easier now that you do not need to carry bids to the seller that are going to be rejected.
I do wonder about the ceiling price, does that mean they would not take more than 458K? :-)

RE: Travel Trailers: Hybrids .vs. non-hybrids pros and cons?

I have had both. The difference is that you still have the problem with putting up wet and needing to open up to allow the canvas to dry when you get home.
If you can find a "solid body" that is light enough for your needs that would be my choice.

RE: And everyone cheered

Just yesterday a guy in front of me at a traffic light was busy talking on his phone and did not notice that the light had turned green. Everyone had left except him and of course everyone behind him. I waited until the traffic in front of him was about a hundred yards away and gave a short beep on the horn.
Next light we stopped and I was still right behind him. He rolls down his window and waves for me to see, when we make eye contact in his mirror he shoots me a bird. How dare me interrupt his phone conversation!!
I just waved at him a let it go. You can not change people that rude or stupid, they will only bring you down to their level.

RE: What size sheets?

A trick for the length is to put the sheet on upside down hooking all of the fitted corners and make a flap of the extra leftover sheet length about 12 inches from one end. Pin that flap together as a measurement, sew the flap together, put the sheet back on the bed with the flap at the foot of the bed. This is hard to describe, hope you can visualize it. If you can understand what I am saying, this will take care of the length problem.

RE: German Plane Landing

The news cast I heard said that no one was aware of the wind conditions during the landing approach. There was a sudden change that caused the problem. I am sure there was some quick decision making going on. Thank goodness they made it.
Question: Is an abort path always cleared for an incoming commercial plane? Or, did this pilot get lucky in the abort path also?
